Universal TPMS Program Tool
The Universal TPMS Program Tool is a professional device for activating, programming, and diagnosing TPMS sensors. It writes sensor IDs, adjusts frequencies, and facilitates ECU relearn procedures during aftermarket sensor replacement.
1. Core functionality:
The sensor activation & data reading: Activates 315MHz/433MHz sensors and reads key data including ID, tire pressure, temperature, and battery status to quickly determine sensor condition.
Programming & ID Management: It’s support programming methods such as manual input, automatic creation, and cloning; copies original sensor ID to a new sensor and works with universal programmable sensors.
TPMS Relearn & Matching: Provides multiple learning modes (OBD II, manual, automatic) to match the vehicle ECU and complete sensor-vehicle binding.
System Diagnostics: Reads/clears TPMS fault codes and views data streams to locate system faults; some tools also support RKE signal detection and other extended functions.
Software Update: Most the TPMS programming tools support WiFi/USB updates to refresh vehicle database and functions for long‑term compatibility.
2. Operation Steps:
Sensor Activation: Place the TPMS program tool near the universal tpms sensor to activate it and read ID, tire pressure, and other data.
Programming: Select programming method (clone / automatic creation) and write target ID and parameters.
Vehicle Learning: Connect to the vehicle via OBD and perform ECU learning to complete sensor matching.
Verification: Read TPMS sensor data stream to confirm all sensors communicate normally and no fault codes exist.
3. Precautions:
The universal tpms program tool software must be updated regularly to ensure compatibility with vehicle models and sensors.
After programming, follow the corresponding vehicle model’s relearn procedure to avoid matching failure.
Please note some vehicle models may require a dedicated OBD module or diagnostic tool to complete learning; confirm compatibility when selecting a tool.
